Members of Milford Haven Gymnastics Club are benefitting from new equipment following sponsorship from the Port of Milford Haven.
The club applied to the Port’s Community Fund for help to purchase a new air flow PRO fast track. The track is used as an all round training aid for tumbling and allows a safe progression to more dynamic floor work.
Up to 350 children and adults from Milford Haven and the surrounding area use the club, which offers them a fun way to develop their fitness in a safe environment. Talented individuals are selected to join the gym squad and are supported to compete and succeed at a national level.
Sarah McGillivray from Milford Haven Gymnastics Club said “The air pro track is a brilliant tool for members to use, whether they are beginners or more advanced. It helps break down skills and builds them up before performing on the floor. This gives the gymnasts confidence as they are happy to try new things as well as reducing the risk of injury”.
