The Port of Milford Haven, in partnership with PAVS, is pleased to offer a Community Fund that is open to charities, voluntary organisations, community organisations, Town and Community Councils and social enterprises operating in Pembrokeshire.

Supporting Local Initiatives: How Our Community Fund Makes a Difference

At the Port of Milford Haven, we take enormous pride in our role within the community and our support for great local initiatives. As a Trust Port, we re-invest any profits back into the business, ensuring we can maintain our principal operations and deliver projects that create jobs, support economic growth, and deliver a bright outlook for the region. Our commitment to the region extends beyond economic impact; we support the community's prosperity through a wide range of direct initiatives, which is why we offer the Community Fund.

 

Partnership with PAVS:

The Port of Milford Haven Community Fund, under the new 2024 partnership agreement with PAVS, offers grants of up to £5,000 to projects that meet the Port’s themes of:

  • A sustainable and resilient environment
  • A safe, inclusive and enjoyable waterway
  • A vibrant and prosperous community

The Fund prioritises projects that align with our core values of safety, collaboration, excellence, and sustainability.

 

Application Deadlines

The deadlines for 2025 are:

  • Monday 3rd March 2025

  • Monday 2nd June 2025

  • Monday 8th September 2025

  • Monday 24th November 2025

Applications must be submitted to PAVS by 12 noon on the deadline day.

Community Fund Guidelines

If you are a charity, voluntary organisation, community organisation, Town or Community Council, or social enterprise operating in Pembrokeshire, you can apply for funding through this section. Ensure that your organisation meets the eligibility criteria outlined in the Community Fund Guidelines before submitting your application.

Apply as an organisation

Individuals can apply for up to £100 for activities which involve them representing Pembrokeshire at an exceptional level or who are raising money for a Pembrokeshire charity.


Apply as an individual

If your organisation is hosting a fundraising event or community activity and would like to request a raffle prize from the Community Fund, you can apply through this section. Raffle prizes are a great way to support your event and raise additional funds.
